Helping Children Succeed

Today and for the future

Did You Know?

When appropriate support can be put in place in the early stages of a child’s life, more positive outcomes can be achieved by the time they reach school age.

Early Identification & Intervention

Macaulay uses a range of strategies to identify, as early as possible, any problem or delay in a child’s physical, social, cognitive, or language development. When a need is identified, we work in partnership with parents and caregivers to address the need and minimize its impact on the child’s development and well-being. Our service includes:

  • Early identification through observations and screening
  • Referral or case coordination to help families access an appropriate program or specialized services
  • Individual program planning to address areas critical to each child’s full development
  • Support and special strategies so children with special needs can participate fully in Macaulay programs
