Program without Walls

Privacy Statement
Program without Walls (PWW) is a coalition of six agencies working together to support the health and development of children aged birth to 6 years in the former City of York. As the sponsoring agency, Macaulay Child Development Centre oversees the coordination and administration of PWW’s programs and services.

Programs offered by PWW are funded through the Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) under The Public Health Agency of Canada. PWW programs are offered at different locations in a variety of languages to serve the diverse families in the community.

PWW Programs include:

  • Child development
  • Parent relief
  • Parent education and support
  • Family home visiting
  • Nutrition
  • Creative Expressions

If you are looking for prenatal classes, the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) is offered through Unison Health and Community Services at five weekly drop-in locations in our catchment. The program offers expertise in nutrition, prenatal and postnatal care. Funded by Health Canada, it is part of a nation-wide program with thirty projects in the GTA. For more information about these classes, please go to Unison’s website at www.unisonhcs.org

If you are looking for services for young parents, including prenatal and postnatal information and parent-child drop-in, please contact Supporting Young Families. This is a community collaboration of agencies, including Macaulay Centre, and you will find more info here.
