Macaulay provides in-home parent education and support to high need families with children 0-6 yrs. Special activities reduce isolation and connect families to community resources. The goal of the program is to promote optimal physical, cognitive, communicative, and psychosocial development in young children who are at risk. The service, delivered as part of the provincial Healthy Babies, Healthy Children program, is offered in English, Hindi, Portuguese, Punjabi, Spanish, Urdu and Vietnamese.

The program offers:

• Activities and information to support healthy child development
• Activities to support effective parenting in high risk families
• Linkages to community services and resources such as food banks, parent groups and medical services
• Early literacy activities
