Macaulay Centres for Children is a registered charity, committed to ensuring every child in our community has the opportunity to thrive.
But we can’t do it alone.
Every day, children in Toronto face challenges that prevent them from reaching their full potential:
- Financial hardship.
- Adapting to a new country.
- Behavioral and learning challenges.
Many families in our community lack access to affordable early education and support services—leaving kids without the resources they need to succeed. Nearly half the children we serve have extra support needs, and 30% of families are low-income.
Demand for our programs is higher than ever, and without support from individuals like you, we risk falling short. Government funding and grants cover only part of what is needed. Individual donors make it possible to continue providing these crucial services and expand to reach more families.
Your support will help us deliver essential services like:
- Expanding After-School Programs from three to five days per week, providing children with safe, structured spaces to learn and grow.
- Offering specialized support for 100 children with extra needs, helping them manage emotions, improve social skills, and overcome physical challenges.
- Delivering 180 coding sessions to 120 children, preparing them with essential tech skills.
- Expanding the Emergency Family Support Fund to assist 50 families in crisis with urgent needs like food and transportation.
