Early Identification & Intervention
Macaulay uses a range of strategies to identify, as early as possible, any problem or delay in a child’s physical, social, cognitive, or language development. When a need is identified, we work in partnership with parents and caregivers to address the need and minimize its impact on the child’s development and well-being. Our service includes:
- Early identification through observations and screening
- Referral or case coordination to help families access an appropriate program or specialized services
- Individual program planning to address areas critical to each child’s full development
- Support and special strategies so children with special needs can participate fully in Macaulay programs
